Val di Fiemme has 5 main areas to ski: Alpe Cermis, Ski Centre Latemar, Bellemonte-Alpe Lusia, Rolle and Lavaze-Oclini. With the ski pass, you can gain access to 100km of interconnected and high quality pistes. In the heart of the Latemar ski area, the Tesero ski resort has over 42 km of ski pistes. A famous location for Nordic skiing, the resort and its "Centro del Lago di Tesero" offer 18km of cross country trails. The center hosted the World Nordic ski Championships in 1991 and 2001. The village of Tesero also signed up for the next Olympic Games in 2011. The Latemar ski area has various freestyle areas adapted to beginner and expert snowboarders.
